So I visited Austin, TX a little while back, meant to post on it, and well...here I am finally doing so. First of all, I looooved Austin, like I could live there type love. Good weather, fun people, and that weird vibe, is probably the next best thing to NY I'm seeing right now.
Following the advice of one of my colleagues, I toured the cities coolest spots; check out the pics I managed to take during the day (night was a different story):
First stop, Cowboy boots shopping! These were... h-expensive!
Cute!
This particular store had boots gallore, up to about $2000. I had fun just trying them on : D
The view from Mt. Bonnell
100 steps?
I read reviews of Mt. Bonnell before going, and people said how hard the climb was up to the top via these steps. I was like, "Pshhh, what steps?" Easy peasy. Nothing at all like the 99 steps I used to climb at the zoon in Jamaica, which were steeeeep. I may try those again next time I go home.
What wouldn't I give to live here?
Color inspiration anyone? Still hung up on yellow :-)
Couldn't help thinking these male peacocks reflect the state of male - female relations today ;-) I'll leave you to figure that out.
Female peacocks... nuff said...
Mad about yellow y'all! Mayfield Park
That's for all the iPhone maps naysayers out there.
Happy designing.
