Summer is here, yay! And my aim is to create a complete oasis, inside and out. I'm a little concerned about my garden though. The flowers are coming along great (click here to see pics), but my grass/lawn, not so much. I think it's because it's new (put down the sod couple weeks ago), and I hadn't watered it twice a day. Add to that, I won't always be able to water everyday due to work commitments.
I invested in an automatic timer for a sprinkler but doesn't work as well because I have 6 evergreen trees blocking the water rotation. I'll have to use 2 sprinklers now. It'll be 3 weeks before I'll see much progress. Here's what it looks like so far:
| See all the brown? That's an evergreen tree on the right |
| This is the second sprinkler to be hooked up |
What do you do to keep your garden pretty? How will you keep your lawn lush this summer?
Happy designing!
Kyla
