In Remembrance of Summer - gone too soon

Hey lovely people,

As I feel the inevitable chill of September seep into my bones, with temperatures decreasing daily, I must come to terms with Summer's passing (I know, long gone). Being an island child, this time of year for me is never easy, so it's a good thing I took pics to remember her by. Check them out here:

Warning: this is a random assortment of some pics taken by me and some friends this Summer. If you want a story, it'll have to be another time ;-)

No summer is complete without a trip to an amusement park. This year, Coney Island took center stage as I did all things NY

Coney Island, can you smell the popcorn and funnel cake?

Guess who won?
There is a story here... we got stuck in this thing, for half hour!

This crazy face should have been our warning to stay away, but no! This girl loves adventure...

Next we tried this thing. I felt like my brain was going to pop outta my head!

Behind us is one of the most horrific things I have seen. Won't be sharing...

First trip on the Staten Island Ferry (yes, believe it)

New York!

Shades, the requisite summer accessory.

Attending  'Curly Nikki does NYC' event. Had a blast!

Usain Bolt representing my country at The 2012 London Olympics. He struck again!

hehe!

Tried my hand at Jerk Tofu...not bad :-)

Overall, not a bad Summer at all. Giving thanks. Now I just need to embrace Fall, in other words Christmas.

Happy designing!
